New bolt on engine cage coming soon! What separates a
Threat Motorsports engine cage from other bolt on
engine cages? Accuracy, strength and safety! This new
bolt on engine cage allows you to mount your coilovers
and bypass shocks in the correct locations. It also
allows you to mount the lower shock mounts on top of
the I-beam instead of on the face of the beam like other
company's. The upper shock mounts are mounted at the
correct angles so the shocks can follow the path on
which the suspension cycles. By doing this it puts less
wear on the uniballs in the shocks, and eliminates
binding which scars up the top caps and lower rod ends
of the shocks you just payed good money for!! Another
added bonus is this is a "real" engine cage. Its not some
overpriced cheap shock hoop with a crossmember. It
mounts to 8 points of the chassis. Not only does it
stiffen up the front section of the chassis but it protects
the entire engine as well. It is constructed of 1 3/4" 120
wall DOM tubing and can be easily tied into a cab cage.
